Here is a wayward prophet. After standing in God's presence and following in obedience into the most amazing displays of God's power and sovereignty, Elijah took matters in his own hands and ended up in the wilderness. Yet God found him there and strengthened him. The rebuke came later, but now God sent an angel to care for his disobedient child.
