Many of the stories in the Bible are focused on "seeing". He saw is about the power of seeing by oneself. What we need today is an encounter with the Holy Spirit that will open our eyes to the reality of the Presence of God that surrounds us. The prophet prayed "open his eyes that he may see that more are with us than with them".
