How it all started...
The Highway started over 80 years ago, in a place that used to be a restaurant, located down the road in what was then the only highway through Silverdale. The church was originally called The Highway Tabernacle, and over the years it was changed to Olympic View Assembly of God.
When the present Pastor and his family moved from Wales to the USA, they were surprised to learn of the original name of the church, because that was exactly the name of the church they planted in Wales. Pastor Conrad believed that it was a significant move to rename the church to what was the very first name.

Expanding the vision...
Pastor Dave Harrison visited us, and shared his story as pastor of this church, and about many aspects of the moves, and buildings, and other such interesting bits.
However, the one thing that jumped at us, was what the Lord had told him and other regional pastors: That this church was planted here with one purpose:
To Be a carrier of revival to the region and beyond!

Where we are headed...
The end of year 2023 brough fresh revelation and encouragement from the Holy Spirit.
It is the year of Psalm 24
"Lift up your heads, o ye gates,
and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors.
and the King of Glory shall come in"
We are headed toward a manifestation of God's glory, lie no other!
